The MVA brand
MVA started in 1968 as "Alan M Voorhees and Associates", a UK subsidiary of American Transport Consultants, and we were appointed to undertake a transport study for Tyne and Wear. Brian Martin, who had been Greater London Council's Chief Transport Planner, was appointed as Managing Director of Voorhees' UK operations and after some years the company was renamed Martin and Voorhees Associates in recognition of his role.
In 1983 the management of Martin and Voorhees Associates bought the company from its American owners and the company's name was changed to MVA.

In 2009, MVA in Asia has aligned with the global MVA brand VISUAL IDENTITY SYSTEM (VIS).
Colour is a powerful and distinctive element of our visual identity. And our chosen palette is a combination of – VIBRANT, BRIGHT COLOURS and UNDERSTATED, SOPHISTICATED GREYS. MVA is known for its RED and it still has stood out in the markets where MVA operates in. To work alongside our RED, we have introduced an equally strong VIOLET and GOLD. .
