Hong Kong - “Panoramic City in Transformation” Exhibition |
Hong Kong, as a cosmopolitan city on a tiny piece of land, has been known to the world for its modern architectures, city planning and comprehensive transport infrastructures. Inspired by her creativity and attachment to her hometown, young artist Fan Lok Yi, a.k.a. Lokbi, has drawn a 4-metre long sketch scroll, presenting a panoramic showcase of the city’s multi-faceted architectural landscapes and dynamic pulses of the local communities. Fan Lok Yi is a graduate from the University of Hong Kong in Architectural Studies, and is currently pursuing a master degree in Fine Arts in London, England.
This exhibition, co-organized with art-at-all and with feature artwork sponsored by MVA, showcases a variety of Fan Lok Yi’s sketches and installations, which vividly display the silhouette of the city from multi-dimensional perspective, and gradually lead audience into the artist’s realm of creativity. |
